Step 1: Cut out Petals

Start your artificial silk orchid by cutting out the shape of the petals. This should be done with white silk. The best way to do this is to simply trace the shape out of a template, or freely draw it onto the silk. Use the craft knife to cut it out carefully.

Step 2: Paint to Your Desired Color

Step 5: Make Stem

You can also make leaves from the same silk, dying or painting it green. Press the leaves in a mold and wrap around the stem with small coils of wire wrapped in green paper.
